| Doses can be increased with daily dosage increments of 25 to 50 mg/day, if well tolerated, to achieve a target dose of 300 to 450 mg/day by the end of 2 weeks. After Week 2, subsequent dosage increments should be made no more than once or twice weekly, in increments not to exceed 100 mg. |
| Cautious titration and a divided dosage schedule are necessary to minimize the risks of hypotension, seizure, and sedation. |
